Rheological aging and rejuvenation in solid friction contacts

We study the low-velocity (0.1--100 $\mu$m.s$^{-1}$) frictional properties of interfaces between a rough glassy polymers and smooth silanized glass, a configuration which gives direct access to the rheology of the adhesive joints in which shear localizes.

Heavy is the Crown: Crown Ether Modulation of Cobalt Porphyrin CO2 Electroreduction in Zero‐Gap Electrolyzers

The implementation of crown ethers into the ligand of cobalt porphyrins benefits the electrochemical CO2 reduction in the several ways: (1) the reduction potential is lowered in presence of K+; (2) it boosts the CO generation in Zero‐Gap Electrolyzers and (3) ensures complex stability during electrolysis.

Bio‐Inspired Hierarchical Nanoreactor With Hetero‐Coordinated Fe–P–Co Bridges for Whole‐Pathway‐Regulated Electrocatalytic Oxygen Reduction

A bioinspired Co‐doped Fe2P on N‐doped carbon with a hierarchical eucalyptus‐like nanoarchitecture is engineered to regulate oxygen across the entire electrochemical pathway, achieving a half‐wave potential of 0.938 V vs. RHE, sustaining 373 h of discharge in Al‐air batteries, and delivering an energy density of 3487 Wh/kg.
