Dipole-dipole interaction between orthogonal dipole moments in time-dependent geometries

open access: yes, 2007
In two nearby atoms, the dipole-dipole interaction can couple transitions with orthogonal dipole moments. This orthogonal coupling accounts for a number of interesting effects, but strongly depends on the geometry of the setup.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

A new method of frequency offset correction using coherent averaging

open access: yesJournal of Telecommunications and Information Technology, 2005
This paper describes a new method of frequency offset correction to improve clock stability in communication systems where the temporary drift or jitter of phase angle is not accepted.

On the averaging principle for one-frequency systems. An application to satellite motions

open access: yes, 2009
This paper is related to our previous works [1][2] on the error estimate of the averaging technique, for systems with one fast angular variable. In the cited references, a general method (of mixed analytical and numerical type) has been introduced to ...

NRASQ61R Expression in Lymphatic Endothelial Cells Causes Enlarged Vessels, Hemorrhagic Chylous Effusions, and High Mortality in a Mouse Model of Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

New q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Bonferroni Mean Dombi Operators and Their Application in Multiple Attribute Decision Making

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Some q-rung orthopair fuzzy Bonferroni mean Dombi aggregation operators have been developed based on the Bonferroni mean, Dombi T-norm and T-conorm in q-rung orthopair fuzzy environment.

EVALUATION OF METHODS OF CONSTRUCTING SRTM90 FROM SRTM30 [PDF]

open access: yesPort Said Engineering Research Journal, 2013
The data released by the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) is at two horizontal resolutions; three arc-seconds (90 meter) globally (SRTM90), and one arc-second (30 meter) for the United States (SRTM30), whereas the one arc-second (30 meter) for the

Pulmonary Dysfunction Is Associated With Sleep Study Abnormalities in Children With Sickle Cell Disease: A Multicenter Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

Estimating Road Segments Using Kernelized Averaging of GPS Trajectories

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
A method called iTEKA, which stands for iterative time elastic kernel averaging, was successfully used for averaging time series. In this paper, we adapt it to GPS trajectories. The key contribution is a denoising procedure that includes an over-sampling

Stable Manifolds in the Method of Averaging [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1988
Consider the differential equation z ˙ = ε f ( z , t , ε ) \dot z = \varepsilon f(z,\,t,\,\varepsilon ) , where f f is T T periodic in t t and
