Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

High Pressure Densification Investigation of Li3PS4 and Li6PS5Cl Solid Electrolytes using Combine X‐Ray Diffraction, X‐Ray Absorption Tomography and Ionic Measurement

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We used multiple analytical techniques at the Psiché beamline, Synchrotron Soleil, and at D20 instrument in Institut Laue Langevin, to study the densification of thiophosphate solid electrolytes Li3PS4 and Li6PS5Cl. Our combined X‐ray diffraction, absorption tomography, absorption density, neutron power diffraction, and ionic conductivity analyses ...

Definite integrals by the method of brackets. Part 1

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Mathematics, 2010
A new heuristic method for the evaluation of definite integrals is presented. This method of brackets has its origin in methods developed for theevaluation of Feynman diagrams. We describe the operational rules and illustrate the method with several examples.

A Chiral Schwinger model, its Constraint Structure and Applications to its Quantization

open access: yes, 2007
The Jackiw-Rajaraman version of the chiral Schwinger model is studied as a function of the renormalization parameter. The constraints are obtained and they are used to carry out canonical quantization of the model by means of Dirac brackets.

Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...

Evaluation of friction produced by self-ligating, conventional and Barbosa Versatile brackets

open access: yesRevista de Odontologia da UNESP
Introduction The Barbosa Versatile bracket design may provide lower frictional force and greater sliding. However, no in vitro studies have shown its sliding mechanisms and frictional resistance, particularly in comparison with other self-ligating or ...

Fracture strength of monocrystalline and polycrystalline ceramic brackets during archwire torque

open access: yesRevista de Odontologia da UNESP, 2019
Introduction In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for esthetic treatments, especially among orthodontic patients. Objective This study determined the fracture strength of monocrystalline and polycrystalline ceramic brackets of different ...

Pattern Formation in Non‐Equilibrium Architected Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This article demonstrates an artificial mechanical system ‐ a robotic metamaterial ‐ as an accessible and versatile platform within which to explore and prescribe the reaction‐diffusion driven pattern formation hitherto associated with comparatively less accessible and versatile non‐equilibrium biological and chemical systems.
