The multidimensional regulation roles and mechanisms of calcium in fruit quality
This review explores how calcium signaling molecule integrates plant hormones, environmental cues, and developmental signals to influence external fruit traits, internal nutritional properties, and physiological disorders. ABSTRACT Calcium (Ca2+), a dual‐functional mineral that serves both as an essential structural factor and a signaling molecule ...

Methyl Jasmonate, Calcium, and Leaf Senescence in Rice [PDF]
The possible involvement of calcium in the regulation of methyl jasmonate-promoted senescence of detached rice (Oryza sativa) leaves was investigated. Calcium effectively reduced methyl jasmonate-promoted senescence of detached rice leaves. The effect of methyl jasmonate on the senescence was also significantly reduced by calcium ionophore A23187 ...

Tandemly duplicated TaERF109 genes confer drought tolerance and post‐drought recovery in wheat
Tandemly duplicated TaERF109 transcription factor genes in wheat modulate growth traits and enhance drought tolerance by regulating the TaMADS56 transcription facto gene, cytokinin biosynthesis‐related genes, and nicotianamine synthase genes, revealing the critical role of tandemly duplicated genes in the coordination of stress responses and ...

Effects of methyl jasmonate, on stevioside and rebaudioside A content and expression of the ent-Kaurenoic acid 13-hydroxylase gene in Stevia rebaudiana Bert. in vitro [PDF]
Glycosides are a form of secondary metabolites that consist variety compounds and in some cases can play a role in primary metabolism. Steviol is lipophilic skeleton of Stevioside and Rebaudioside A, two main glycosides of Stevia rebuadiana.

SlGRF1 mediates gibberellin signaling to control cut‐budding in tomato
Upon wounding, cytokinin increases to initiate callus formation. Gibberellin enhances this, but later blocks bud formation by suppressing SlGRF1. Wounding‐induced protein SlGRF1 triggers buds via NAM1, EPF4, and ER2. Hormonal shifts control cut‐budding phases.
