Qualitative and quantitative analysis of methyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate of acrylonitrile fibers by pyrolysis gas chromatography

open access: yes, 1986
Degradation gases evolved from methyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate of acrylonitrile fibers were analyzed by pyrolysis gas chromatography. For determining polymer composition, optimum pyrolysis conditions were determined and calibration was ...

Rare‐Earth Mediated Engineering in ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ to Simultaneously Achieve Structural Modulation and Atomic Eu Doping Sites for X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual hard‐base anchoring strategy was developed to synthesize ZnSe@ZnS:Eu3+ quantum dots, leveraging fluoride‐oleylamine interactions to create surface atomic Eu doping sites. By precisely tuning temperature, Eu3+ concentration, and fluoride levels, we obtain morphologies ranging from tip growth to coupled flower‐like structures.

Micro‐Galvanic Coupling Programs the Therapeutic Zinc Ion Window to Reconfigure Immune Cascades for Pro‐Regenerative Bone Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study utilized alloy micro‐galvanic coupling design to regulate the release of essential elements, thereby programming immune responses and promoting regeneration. The sacrificial anodic process of Zn‐0.8Mg reduced Zn2+ release compared to the “large cathode‐small anode” coupling of Zn‐0.8Fe.

Remarkable solvent effects of oxygen- and sulfur-containing compounds on the propagation rate of methyl methacrylate

open access: yes, 2005
The propagation kinetics of methyl methacrylate (MMA) in the presence of a number of oxygen- and sulfur-containing compounds have been investigated. Solvents used were 2-methyl-1,3-dioxepane (MDOP), 2,6-dithiaheptane (DTHP) and 1,5-dithiacyclooctane ...

Investigation of the effect of materials and processing conditions in twin-screw extrusion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Lightweight Materials and Manufacture
Three polymeric materials; polystyrene (amorphous), low-density polyethylene (semi-crystalline), and poly(methyl methacrylate) (amorphous) were used to explore their behavior and properties during processing using a co-rotating twin-screw extruder ...
