Oxidation of methylamine

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, 2020
AbstractA detailed chemical kinetic model for oxidation of methylamine has been developed, based on theoretical work and a critical evaluation of data from the literature. The rate coefficients for the reactions of CHNH + O CHNH / CHNH + HO, CHNH + H CH + NH, CHNH CHNH, and CHNH + O CHNH + HO were calculated from ab initio theory. The mechanism was

The Oxidation of Methylamine in Paracoccus denitrificans [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Biochemistry, 1995
The in vivo oxidation of methylamine has been studied in Paracoccus denitrificans. Four components are involved in the electron transfer from methylamine to oxygen; methylamine dehydrogenase (MADH), amicyanin, cytochrome c and cytochrome‐c oxidase. In P. denitrificans, MADH and its electron acceptor amicyanin are indispensable for growth on methylamine.

Molecular Mobility of N‐Acetylgalactosamine‐Modified Cyclodextrins on a Polyrotaxane for Highly Efficient Liver Targeting of Antibody Chimeras and Genome‐Editing Ribonucleoproteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Monovalent N‐acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc)‐modified polyrotaxane enables efficient liver targeting by utilizing ligand mobility. The sliding and rotating cyclic components i.e., cyclodextrin in the polyrotaxane dynamically cluster GalNAc moieties, thereby mimicking trivalent interactions with asialoglycoprotein receptors.

Membrane Fusion‐Mediated Cytosolic Delivery of Threose Nucleic Acids via Homotypic Nanoparticles Overcomes Drug Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a biomimetic “nanofusion” platform that integrates the biostability of threose nucleic acids (TNA) with homotypic cell‐membrane cloaking to combat drug‐resistant TNBC. By leveraging a non‐canonical membrane‐fusion pathway for direct cytosolic delivery, the platform bypasses endosomal sequestration. To achieve potent AKT2 silencing

Degradation of Methanol and Methylamines to Carbon over Heated Alloy Surfaces

open access: yes, 2016
Methanol and methylamines, especially trimethylamine, can be degraded over alloy surfaces to generate byproducts and carbon deposits. The activity of various metal alloys for the degradation of methanol and methylamines to carbon has been investigated ...

Lattice Coherency‐Driven (111)‐Oriented Wide Bandgap Perovskite Films

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Methylammonium lead chloride (MAPbCl3)‐derived seed templates regulate wide‐bandgap perovskite crystallization through coupled thermodynamic and kinetic effects. Lattice‐coherent templating lowers the energy cost for (111) epilayer growth, while growth retardation controls crystallization kinetics, ultimately producing highly crystalline face‐up (111 ...

Ion-molecule reactions in mixtures of trimethylaluminum and methylamines

open access: yes, 1993
The ion-molecule reactions of mixtures of trimethylaluminum and methylamines, to serve as a model system for group 13–15 semiconductor fabrication, were examined by using Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry.
