Synthesis of halide perovskite microwires via methylammonium cations reaction

Frontiers of Materials Science, 2020
Low-dimensional halide perovskites (HPs) have received considerable attention in recent years due to their novel physical properties such as compositional flexibility, high quantum yield, quantum size effects and superior charge transport. Here we show room temperature solution synthesis of 1D organic-inorganic lead bromide perovskite microwires (MWs).

Inhibiting the decomposition of methylammonium using cations with low deprotonation energy

Journal of Materials Chemistry A, 2022
CH3NH2 can be converted into the MA+ ion using cations with low deprotonation energy, suggesting that the decomposition of MA+ can be inhibited. Moreover, the MAPbI3 perovskites with H5O2 show excellent electronic structures and high efficiency.

Cation rotation in methylammonium lead halides

Solid State Communications, 1985
Abstract 2 H and 14 N nmr spectra of the simple perovskites CH 3 NH 3 PbX 3 (X = Cl >, Br, I) reveal the existence of several phases. In the high-temperature phase I the long spin-lattice relaxation times T 1 of both nuclei and the absence of quadrupole splitting indicate extremely rapid overall reorientation of the CN axis of the cation in ...

Exceptional structural diversity of hybrid halocuprates(i) with methylammonium and formamidinium cations

Dalton Transactions, 2023
In this paper, MABr/CuBr and FABr/CuBr systems (MA+= methylammonium and FA+= formamidinium) were comprehensively studied: the existence of five novel phases MACu2Br3, FA2[Cu4Br6], MACuBr2, FACuBr2, and FA3CuBr4was established.
