To determine the air concentrations of methylmethacrylate monomer and thus obtain information about the safety in the operating theater, a methylmethacrylate Dräger tube was used in connection with a bellows pump. This method gives an instantly readable value correlated with more complicated gas chromatographic measurements.

Polymer‐Based Multiparameter Sensing Integrated Photonic Chip for Health Monitoring

A monolithic integrated photonic chip simultaneously measures blood glucose, pressure, temperature, ECG, and sweat glucose. Combining multiple Bragg grating sensors, Mach–Zehnder modulators, and an on–‐chip demodulation unit, this compact chip (1 cm × 0.5 cm) offers robust multiparameter detection.
