Geographic variation in walking activity in the red flour beetle Tribolium castaneum
This study examined whether there is geographic variation in field populations, focusing on the moving activity in the red flour beetle Tribolium castaneum. Results showed significant differences in moving activity among field populations but no correlation with latitude or meteorological factors.

Fuzzy n−Controlled Metric Space
This manuscript consists of the idea of n−controlled metric space in fuzzy set theory to generalize a number of fuzzy metric spaces in the literature, for example, pentagonal, hexagonal, triple, and double controlled metric spaces and many other spaces ...

Separability of Metric Spaces [PDF]
A topological space S is separable means that some countable subset of S is dense in S. A subset T of a topological space is separable means that T has a countable subset which is dense in T. In view of the importance of this property, it is natural to inquire about conditions under which a space is separable.

occumb: An R package for site occupancy modeling of eDNA metabarcoding data
This study introduces a new R package, occumb, for the convenient application of site occupancy modeling using environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding data. We outline a data analysis workflow, including data setup, model fitting, model assessment, and comparison of potential study settings based on model predictions, all of which can be performed using

THE EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF COMPLETION OF COMPLEX VALUED METRIC SPACES
Completion of a metric space has been investigated and proved its existence and uniqueness. While a complex valued metric space is considered as a generalization of a metric space, we study the completion properties of complex valued metric spaces. Using

Corona metric spaces: Basic properties, universal lines, and the metric dimension
In this article, we introduce the study of corona metric space. After discussing some basic properties of these metric spaces, such as completeness, boundedness, compactness and separability, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for the ...

Dislocated metric space to metric spaces with some fixed point theorems
In this paper, we notice the notions metric-like space and dislocated metric space are exactly the same. After this historical remark, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of a cyclic mapping in the context of metric-like spaces.

On the conformal gauge of a compact metric space [PDF]
In this article we study the Ahlfors regular conformal gauge of a compact metric space $(X,d)$, and its conformal dimension $\mathrm{dim}_{AR}(X,d)$. Using a sequence of finite coverings of $(X,d)$, we construct distances in its Ahlfors regular conformal

Deep Cosine Metric Learning for Person Re-identification [PDF]
Metric learning aims to construct an embedding where two extracted features corresponding to the same identity are likely to be closer than features from different identities.

This paper draws on the theory of soft $A$-metric space using soft points of soft sets and the concept of $A$-metric spaces. This new space has great importance as a new type of generalisation of metric spaces since it includes various known metric spaces.
