Comparison of Wear Behaviour of Mg, Mg-4Zn, Mg-4Zn-3MnO2 & Mg-4Zn-3MnCl2 Systems
Study involves the comparison between wear properties of commercially pure Mg, Mg-4Zn, Mg-4Zn- 3MnO2 and Mg-4Zn-3MnCl2 by addition of Zn and Mn (by changing their sources). The wear behaviour of all systems investigated under applied loads of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 N at the room temperature. The wear tests carried out by pin-on-disk type wear testing

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve
