Greater Occipital Nerve Block as Preventive Treatment in Migraine: A Time‐To‐Event Analysis

open access: yesPain Practice, Volume 25, Issue 5, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Greater occipital nerve block (GON‐B) may still represent a valuable strategy in migraine prophylaxis despite the development of newer drugs. The absence of a standardized method leads to variable outcomes and limits its use. In this light, we investigated GON‐B effects in a migraine population trying to define its duration and ...

Variability of Earth's Magnetopause and Bow Shock Locations Modeled via Multi‐Decade Solar Wind Observations

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 10, 28 May 2025.
Abstract Numerous studies have explored modeling the shape of Earth's magnetopause (MP) and bow shock (BS) as a function of incident solar wind conditions, utilizing either magnetohydrodynamic model data or observations of boundary crossings from orbiting spacecraft. Here we present a novel method for modeling the variance of the location of the BS and

In Situ Analysis of Jupiter's Broadband Kilometric Auroral Radio Emissions With Juno

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 9, 16 May 2025.
Abstract Among the zoo of Jovian auroral radio emissions, the broadband kilometric (bKOM) component has been the least studied. Taking advantage of Juno in situ measurements within the auroral regions, we surveyed the Juno/Waves radio observations over the 60 first orbits to identify 7 bKOM source candidates.
