RBF solution of MHD stokes flow and MHD flow in a constricted enclosure

open access: yes, 2021
This paper presents the radial basis function (RBF) approximation for the numerical solution of Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations in a constricted enclosure under the effect of magnetic field with different orientations. RBFs are used for the approximation of the particular solution which becomes also the approximate solution of the problem satisfying

Asymmetrically Distributed Kelvin‐Helmholtz Instability at Venusian Magnetosphere

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 7, 16 April 2026.
Abstract The asymmetric distribution of Kelvin‐Helmholtz (KH) instability at Venusian ionopause is investigated using a multifluid model. Results show that KH instability distributes asymmetrically, preferentially developing in the −E (anti‐parallel to the interplanetary electric field) hemisphere.

Darcy–Forchheimer flow of magneto Maxwell liquid bounded by convectively heated sheet

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
The present work studies the MHD two-dimensional flow of Maxwell liquid over a stretched surface moving with linear velocity. Convective heat phenomenon characterizes the heat transfer process. Induced electric and magnetic fields are absent.

Minimum energy states of the plasma pinch in standard and Hall magnetohydrodynamics

open access: yes, 2000
Axisymmetric relaxed states of a cylindrical plasma column are found analytically in both standard and Hall magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) by complete minimization of energy with constraints imposed by invariants inherent in corresponding models. It is shown

Mars' Ionospheric Response to the Onset and Early Phase of 20 May 2024 Solar Flare

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 7, 16 April 2026.
Abstract Solar extreme ultraviolet (EUV, 10–100 nm) and X‐ray (<10 nm) photons are the primary ionization source for the dayside Mars ionosphere. Their fluxes, especially at short wavelengths, increase significantly during solar flares. Among the series of solar flares and solar storms encountered by Earth and Mars in May 2024, one of the strongest ...

Numerical Simulation of MHD Fluid Flow inside Constricted Channels using Lattice Boltzmann Method

open access: yesJournal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, 2017
In this study, the electrically conducting fluid flow inside a channel with local symmetric constrictions, in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field is investigated using Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). To simulate Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD)

Magneto Hydrodynamic and Bio-Convection Effects on Hybrid Nanofluid Dynamics Over an Inverted Rotating Cone with Different Base Fluids

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics
This study explores the combined effects of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and bio-convection on the flow dynamics of hybrid Nanofluids over an inverted rotating cone with different base fluids.
