Energy spectrum of turbulent fluctuations in boundary driven reduced magnetohydrodynamics

open access: yes, 2003
The nonlinear dynamics of a bundle of magnetic flux ropes driven by stationary fluid motions at their endpoints is studied, by performing numerical simulations of the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations.

Numerical and Intelligent Modeling of MHD Casson Nanofluid Heat Transfer in Fractal Porous Cavities for Energy Systems

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
This study demonstrates that Al2O3–GNP hybrid nanofluids significantly enhance heat transfer in porous rectangular enclosures. Magnetic fields suppress velocity but raise temperature, while higher Biot and Brinkman numbers improve Nusselt number and entropy generation, highlighting effective thermal control in non‐Newtonian HNF systems.

Spatial structure of azimuthally small-scale MHD waves in one-dimensionally inhomogeneous finite pressure plasma with curved field lines

open access: yesSolar-Terrestrial Physics, 2020
We have studied propagation of hydromagnetic (MHD) waves in one-dimensionally inhomogeneous finite pressure plasma with curved field lines. Magnetic surfaces are considered to be concentric cylinders, where the cylinder’s radius models the radial ...

Evolutionary Conditions in the Dissipative MHD System Revisited

open access: yes, 2007
The evolutionary conditions for the dissipative continuous magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) shocks are studied. We modify Hada's approach in the stability analysis of the MHD shock waves.

Quantitative Confounder Analysis of Electrocardiogram Signals in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance at 1.5, 3 and 7 T—Assessing Standardized Electrode Positions and Sequence Types—Towards Quality Assurance

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 63, Issue 4, Page 1140-1154, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The electrocardiogram (ECG) used for gating in cardiac MRI may be compromised by multiple confounders inside the scanner bore. Purpose To quantify the influence of magnetic field strengths (1.5 T/3 T/7 T), standardized electrode positions, and imaging sequences on ECG signals used for gating. Study Type Prospective.

3D Magnetohydrodynamic Wave Propagation and Energy Transport in a Simulated Solar Vortex

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Magnetic flux tubes in the presence of background rotational flows are abundant throughout the solar atmosphere and may act as conduits for MHD waves to transport energy throughout the solar atmosphere. Here we investigate the contribution from MHD waves

Remarks on nonlinear relation among phases and frequencies in modulational instabilities of parallel propagating Alfvén waves [PDF]

open access: yesNonlinear Processes in Geophysics, 2006
Nonlinear relations among frequencies and phases in modulational instability of circularly polarized Alfvén waves are discussed, within the context of one dimensional, dissipation-less, unforced fluid system. We show that generation of phase coherence is

Standing Slow MHD Waves in Radiatively Cooling Coronal Loops

open access: yes, 2015
The standing slow magneto-acoustic oscillations in cooling coronal loops are investigated. There are two damping mechanisms which are considered to generate the standing acoustic modes in coronal magnetic loops namely thermal conduction and radiation ...

Synergistic Effects of Internal and External Magnetic Fields in Electrocatalysis

open access: yesSmartMat, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
In this review, we provide an overview of internal and external magnetic fields in electrocatalysis, highlighting their synergistic effects to hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR), and nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR).
