Heteroepitaxial gold (111) rings on mica substrates

Two-dimensionally arranged gold rings were prepared by depositing a polymeric membrane bearing a dense array of uniform pores onto a mica substrate, filling the pores with a solution of a gold precursor, evaporation of the solvent and calcinations.

Sandwich‐Structured Aramid Composite Papers with Heterogeneous Dielectric Layers for Integrated Corona Resistance and Thermal Conductivity

A sandwich‐structured aramid composite paper was designed to integrate high corona resistance and thermal conductivity. The fluorinated graphene/aramid surface layers effectively dissipate space charges to suppress corona discharge. Meanwhile, the boron nitride nanotube/aramid core layer constructs continuous heat‐conduction pathways.

Remote Electrostatic Effect between Octahedral Ru/Ir‐Complexes and Aromatic Micelles to Improve Their Photofunctions in Water

The aqueous‐state encapsulation of cationic Ru(II)/Ir(III)‐complexes is efficiently demonstrated by anionic aromatic micelles via remote electrostatic interactions. The resulting host–guest composites exhibit enhanced metal‐complex‐based emission (∼3 to 10‐fold) and NIR emission through guest‐to‐guest FRET upon co‐encapsulation.
