Abstract The use of defective concrete in the construction of buildings in Ireland has led to widespread property deterioration, displacement, financial loss, and psychological distress for thousands of families. No research to date has examined mental health outcomes or associated risk factors among affected individuals.

Enhanced Rabi Splitting of Exciton‐Polaritons and Plasmon‐Polaritons in Lithium Niobate Metasurface

This study presents an ultrathin lithium niobate metasurface capable of inducing highly sensitive Fano‐shaped resonances, enabling strong coupling with TMDC monolayers and plasmonic metamaterials/metasurfaces. Adjustable Q‐factors lead to controllable coupling strengths, achieving substantial Rabi splitting.
