Radar Micro-Doppler Signature Analysis with HHT
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2010Radar micro-Doppler signature analysis of vibrating targets with the joint time-frequency methods can provide useful information for target detection, classification, and recognition. We employ a well-known method for nonlinear and nonstationary signals, Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) as a new approach in micro-Doppler analysis.

Vibrating Target Micro-Doppler Signature in Bistatic SAR With a Fixed Receiver
Bistatic synthetic aperture radar (BSAR) provides strategical, technical and economical advantages in radar imaging. Motions and micro-motions of objects in an illuminated scene introduces Doppler and micro-Doppler effects in the received radar echoes ...

UAV Micro-Doppler Signature Analysis
2020 IEEE Radar Conference (RadarConf20), 2020The radar phenomenology of UAVs interacts with the micro-Doppler signal processing in interesting and useful ways. This paper adjusts the micro-Doppler processing to establish more consistent UAV micro-Doppler signatures and improve the separability of relevant features. The outlined approach is developed in the context of UAV rotor analysis.

Through-the-Wall Radar Human Activity Micro-Doppler Signature Representation Method Based on Joint Boulic-Sinusoidal Pendulum Model [PDF]
With the help of micro-Doppler signature, ultra-wideband (UWB) through-the-wall radar (TWR) enables the reconstruction of range and velocity information of limb nodes to accurately identify indoor human activities.

Empirical mode decomposition of micro-doppler signature
IEEE International Radar Conference, 2005., 2005Micro-Doppler induced by mechanical vibration or rotation of structures in a radar target is potentially useful for target detection, classification and recognition. In order to exploit the time-varying micro-Doppler signature, time frequency analysis techniques are used. However, they can not represent this useful information clearly all the time.

Signal Decomposition of Micro-Doppler Signatures
2014The micro-Doppler effects detection, estimation, and removal are analyzed in this chapter. Since the most common form of the micro-Doppler signal is a sinusoidal modulated one, a simple technique for its analysis, based on the inverse Radon transform is presented. A method for period estimation is presented as well.

Micro-Doppler Signature Extraction with Multibeam Radar
2019 International Radar Conference (RADAR), 2019Orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal waveforms are used in a multibeam radar (MBR) to isolate different channels and reduce cross-channel interference. Each channel provides an independent radar beam that performs a specific functionality without interfering with adjacent channels.
