ABSTRACT Index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) is a cutting‐edge, wire‐based tool that advances the capability assessment of coronary microvascular function. By utilizing distal coronary pressure and mean transit time under maximal hyperemia, IMR delivers consistent, reproducible insights into the microvasculature's dynamic health.

ABSTRACT Approaches to the structural design of tissue engineered heart valves (TEHVs) have varied broadly, ranging from material choice to microstructural and macro‐scale functional characteristics. Not only will each variable on this extensive list impact functional and restorative potential after implantation, but most of these variables also have ...

Coastal Marine Carbon and Air‐Sea Fluxes Quantified From pH Sensors on an Extended AUV Deployment
Abstract For the first time, the Autosub Long Range (ALR) completed a fully autonomous, long‐distance (2,000 km) scientific mission, delivering new insight into coastal carbonate dynamics and air‐sea CO2 ${\text{CO}}_{2}$ fluxes. Equipped with a suite of oceanographic sensors, including a Lab‐on‐Chip (LOC) pH sensor and a Sea‐Bird SeaFET pH sensor, the

Forecasting Continuum Intensity for Solar Active Region Emergence Prediction Using Transformers
Abstract Early and accurate prediction of solar active region (AR) emergence is crucial for space weather forecasting. Building on established Long Short‐Term Memory (LSTM) based approaches for forecasting the continuum intensity decrease associated with AR emergence, this work expands the modeling with new architectures and targets.

In this historical pre–post cohort study, the implementation of physiological cardiotocography (PCI) interpretation was associated with reduced neonatal morbidity, neonatal acidosis, and neonatal unit admission. Adjusted cesarean section rates did not increase, supporting PCI as a promising approach to intrapartum fetal surveillance.

Contemporary Management of Aortic Stenosis: Timing of Intervention and Lifetime Valve Management
As transcatheter treatment expands to younger and lower‐risk patients, aortic stenosis management is evolving from a single procedure to lifelong valve care. This review highlights the key challenges across the patient journey, from timely diagnosis and optimal intervention to durable valve performance, long‐term surveillance, and repeat intervention ...

ABSTRACT Aim To establish a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)‐based diagnostic approach for identifying ‘critical pulpal inflammation’ zones in a rat model of caries‐derived pulpitis. Methodology Caries‐derived pulpitis was induced in the molars of Sprague–Dawley rats using the caries‐derived pulpitis model.

Prediabetic cardiomyopathy is attenuated by hypothalamic PVN oxytocin neuron activation
Abstract figure legend A long‐term high‐fat, high‐fructose diet induces prediabetes with insulin resistance, hyperinsulinaemia, elevated triglycerides and metabolic‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in male rats. Animals developed prediabetic cardiomyopathy characterized by diastolic dysfunction, interstitial fibrosis and tachycardia ...

Abstract The orographic precipitation enhancement (OPE) generated within wintertime post‐frontal air masses is a prominent climate feature of Tasmania. This study investigates a passage of a cold sector of a mid‐latitude cyclone over the Southern Ocean (SO) and Western Tasmania (WTAS) observed from 2100 UTC 11 July to 0300 UTC 13 July.
