A Micro-mobility Sensing System to Portray Riding Styles

open access: yesUbiComp/ISWC Adjunct, 2022
Riding style concerns the way a micro-mobility rider chooses to ride, and it plays a significant role in traffic safety. Portraying a rider’s riding style is a useful way to guide them towards safer riding behaviors, and offer fine-grained information ...

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

Sharing mobility solutions in remote touristic area: case study of Lithuania

open access: yesTransport, 2022
Sharing mobility solutions changes people’s lives in cities; however, such services are not common in remote areas, where the most widespread transport mode is a privately owned car. The main challenge is that the existing transport system fails to meet

Understanding Demand for Shared Autonomous Micro-Mobility

open access: yesTransportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment
This study examines the behavioral and environmental implications of shared autonomous micro-mobility systems, focusing on autonomous bicycles and their integration with transit in the U.S. While prior research has addressed operational and lifecycle aspects, a critical gap remains in understanding which modes these services are likely to substitute ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Exploring Performances of Electric Micro-Mobility Vehicles and Behavioural Patterns of Riders for In-Depth Accident Analysis

open access: yesDesigns, 2021
(1) Background: Electric micro-mobility vehicles (i.e., e-bikes and e-scooters) represent a fast-growing portion of the circulating fleet, leading to a multiplication of accident cases also attributable to risky behaviours adopted by the riders.
