Pasteurized Donor Human Milk Maintains Microbiological Purity for 4 Days at 4°C
Journal of Human Lactation, 2015Background: Most protective components in human milk are stable during prolonged storage at 4ºC; however, pasteurization reduces some microbicidal activities responsible for suppressing microbial growth and protecting against infection. Donor milk used by neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) is frozen pasteurized donor human milk (PDHM) defrosted and ...

The main problem addressed in this work is the possible impact that the distribution processes may have on microbiological contamination on the outside of beverage cans sold in stores. Literature study shows lack of detailed microbiological research of canned beverages, that can occur on the top during supply and logistic chain.

The microbial contamination and antimicrobial effectiveness of seven topical disinfectants prepared at the hospital pharmacy were studied. These products were controlled throughout storage and use. The manufacturing routine investigated was able to deliver larger batch sizes and quality products that allowed increased storage time.

INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL FACTORS ON MICROBIOLOGICAL PURITY AIR
2016The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of temperature and relative humidity, the total number of bacteria (mesophilic and aerobic - AMB) and the total number of molds and fungi (P and G) during the month in the workspace microbiology lab.

ENSURING MICROBIOLOGICAL PURITY OF BAKERY PRODUCTS AS AN IMPERATIVE OF FOOD SAFETY
Abstract Bakery products are among the most common food products, but they are prone to mold, which leads to an unpleasant odor, accumulation of mycotoxins, and spoilage of the product. This article presents the results of research and a comparative analysis of calcium propionate of different brands.Bilyk O. +3 more
