Study the Effects of Electromagnetic Fields on Micrococcaceae

In order to study the effects of electromagnetism on micrococcaceae, in this paper, micrococcaceae was treated by electric field of different intensity and magnetic field of the different intensity, at the same time, the optical density and pH of micrococcaceae with treatment were determined to compare with those of untreated samples.

The Survival of Micrococcaceae in Bovine Teat Canal Keratin

SUMMARY Keratin was collected from sixty-four teat canals whose previous infective state was known. The samples were incubated for 60 days in a humid atmosphere. Micrococcaceae isolated from the keratin were identified by Baird-Parker’s (1963) classification.

Characterisation of Micrococcaceae isolated from different varieties of chorizo

A total of 426 strains of Micrococcaceae bacteria isolated from chorizo (a traditional Spanish fermented sausage) were identified. The chorizos were sampled from three regions of Castilla and León in Spain: Burgos, Segovia and Salamanca. Two factories were chosen in each region and the samples were taken at three stages of ripening.

Characterization of Micrococcaceae isolated from salt used for Spanish dry-cured ham

The microbial flora of salt used in the production of Spanish dry-cured ham was studied. The results indicated that Micrococcaceae constituted the predominant flora.
