PANTOGRAPH WITH MICROCOMPUTER

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1987
Abstract The combination of a personal computer and a printer provides remarkable opportunities for text editing and storing. The main idea of this project was to construct a pantograph with the similar features of a text editing computer. In order to realise a pantograph with microcomputer an X-Y table and an Amstrad CPC 6128 computer have been used.

Microprocessors and microcomputers

1983
The first electronic computer to use binary coding was EDVAC, built after the Second World War. It operated on binary numbers up to forty-three digits long, and was able to store, electronically, over 1000 such numbers. It could add, multiply, subtract and divide at the then astounding rate of hundreds of calculations per second.

Microcomputers in Perspective

Exceptional Children, 1982
Although microcomputers will undoubtedly make a contribution to special education, educators face problems because of the poor quality of some of the available computer-assisted instruction (CAI) software and the limited supply of hardware. The primary contribution of computers may occur through other applications such as computer literacy and computer-

Microcomputers in Evaluation

Evaluation Practice, 1984
Summary The electronic transfer of information is one of the most exciting and at the same time most frustrating uses of microcomputers because there are potentially nine components that must all work together. These are: o (1) the sending computer and its operating system, (2) the communication software compatible with the sending computer,

The Microcomputer

Nursing Research, 1987
Programs for data analysis available on microcomputers now rival those programs available for mainframes in terms of ease of use, accuracy, accessibility, and cost. Researchers should seriously consider the possibilities that exist for data analysis on both the microcomputer and the mainframe.
