Microbacterium kunmingensis sp. nov., an attached bacterium of Microcystis aeruginosa

The Journal of Antibiotics, 2022
A Gram-stain positive, aerobic, rod-shaped actinobacterial strain designated as JXJ CY 27-2T was isolated from the culture of Microcystis aeruginosa FACHB-905 (Maf) collected from Lake Kunming, southwest China. The isolate was catalase positive, oxidase negative, and able to grow at 10.0-44.0 °C, pH 5.0-10.0 and 0-5.0% NaCl.

Nocardioides lacusdianchii sp. nov., an attached bacterium of Microcystis aeruginosa

Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2021
Attached bacteria of Microcystis play important roles in the occurence, outbreak and decline of Microcystis water blooms. In this study, a novel actinobacterium, designated strain JXJ CY 38 T, was isolated from the culture mass of Microcystis aeruginosa FACHB-905 (MAF), collected from Lake Dianchi, south-west, China.

Roseococcus microcysteis sp. nov., isolated from a Microcystis aeruginosa culture sample

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2021
Strain NIBR12T (=KACC 22094T=HAMBI 3739T), a novel Gram-stain-negative, obligate aerobic, non-spore-forming, non-motile and coccobacillus-shaped bacterium, was isolated from a cyanobacterial sample culture (Microcysitis aeruginosa NIBRCYC000000452).

Cyanobactericidal effect of Rhodococcus sp. isolated from eutrophic lake on Microcystis sp

Biotechnology Letters, 2010
A bacterium, which was observed in all cultivations of Microcystis sp., was isolated and designated as Rhodococcus sp. KWR2. The growth of bloom-forming cyanobacteria, including four strains of Microcystis aeruginosa and Anabaena variabilis, was suppressed by up to 75-88% by 2% (v/v) culture broth of KWR2 after 5 days.

Mesorhizobium microcysteis sp. nov., isolated from a culture of Microcystis aeruginosa

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology, 2021
Strain MaA-C15T, a Gram-stain-negative, non-spore-forming and strictly aerobic bacterium, was isolated from a xenic culture of Microcystis aeruginosa in the Republic of Korea. Cells were motile rods showing positive reactions in catalase and oxidase tests.
