Photoelectrochemical sensor for pentachlorophenol on microfluidic paper-based analytical device based on the molecular imprinting technique

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, 2014
Combining microfluidic paper-based analytical device (μ-PAD) and the molecular imprinting technique, a visible light photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensing platform for the detection of pentachlorophenol (PCP) was established on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) decorated paper working electrode using polypyrrole-functionalized ZnO nanoparticles.

Free Surface Flow in a Microfluidic Corner and in an Unconfined Aquifer with Accretion: The Signorini and Saint-Venant Analytical Techniques Revisited

Transport in Porous Media, 2016
© 2016, Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.Steady, laminar, fully developed flows of a Newtonian fluid driven by a constant pressure gradient in (1) a curvilinear constant cross section triangle bounded by two straight no-slip segments and a circular meniscus and (2) a wedge bounded by two rays and an adjacent film bulging near the corner are ...

Integrating of analytical techniques with enzyme-mimicking nanomaterials for the fabrication of microfluidic systems for biomedical analysis

Talanta
Bioanalysis faces challenges in achieving fast, reliable, and point-of-care (POC) determination methods for timely diagnosis and prognosis of diseases. POC devices often display lower sensitivity compared to laboratory-based methods, limiting their ability to quantify low concentrations of target analytes.

A review on hyphenation of droplet microfluidics to separation techniques: From instrumental conception to analytical applications for limited sample volumes

Analytica Chimica Acta
In this study, we review various strategies to couple sample processing in microfluidic droplets with different separation techniques, including liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and capillary electrophoresis. Separation techniques interfaced with droplet microfluidics represent an emerging trend in analytical chemistry, in which micro to ...
