Prisoners' Perceptions and Their Agency on Sustainability Transformation in Finland

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sustainability transformation is essential for our time, requiring the involvement of all citizens. Several prisons worldwide have developed various sustainable development (SD) programs for prisoners. However, it remains unclear how prisoners perceive SD, which can be a significant obstacle to their agency. This study explores the perceptions

Imperceptible and Disposable Humidity and Temperature Sensors with Low Environmental Footprint Enabled by Aerosol Jet Printing and Cellulose‐Based Substrates

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This study presents eco‐friendly humidity and temperature sensors printed on biodegradable cellulose using Aerosol Jet Printing. With 99.75% material reduction and 13 µm printing resolution, the sensors use a modified PEDOT:PSS ink for efficient operation across 10–80% RH and 20–50 °C.

One‐Pot Upcycling of Heterogeneous Polyester Waste to Biodegradable Thermoplastics: A Cost‐Effective Solution for a Circular Economy

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
One‐pot melt transesterification upcycles post‐consumer PET and PBT with PTMG into biodegradable TPEEs featuring randomized polyester chains, tunable mechanical properties, and accelerated biodegradation. TEA and LCA analyses show competitive cost and reduced carbon emissions relative to PP and PBAT.
