Design and Functional Characterization of a Plasma‐Activated Aerosol System for Microbial Inactivation

open access: yesPlasma Processes and Polymers, Volume 23, Issue 2, February 2026.
Plasma‐activated aerosol (PAA) can produce RONS‐rich droplets useful for microbial inactivation. PAA treatment induces near‐complete inactivation of both bacterial and fungal loads, highlighting peroxynitrite‐driven antimicrobial activity and strong potential for scalable sanitization.

Modulated desynchronism in short pulse free-electron laser oscillators

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2000
We present an experimental and theoretical study of the effect of desynchronism modulation on short pulse free-electron laser (FEL) oscillators. We find that the output power and the micropulse length of the FEL beam oscillate periodically at the ...

Role of 532 nm transfoveal subthreshold micropulse laser in non-resolving central serous chorioretinopathy with subfoveal leaks

open access: yesTherapeutic Advances in Ophthalmology, 2020
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of 532 nm transfoveal subthreshold micropulse laser in non-resolving central serous chorioretinopathy with subfoveal leak.

Implementing Temporal Sampling Theory Through Rhythmic‐Melodic Activities in Preschool: A Motor‐Rhythm Based Intervention to Enhance Language Skills

open access: yesMind, Brain, and Education, Volume 20, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The sensory‐neural temporal sampling (TS) theory of language acquisition emphasizes the role of individual differences in speech rhythm processing. According to this theory, neural oscillations track loudness or amplitude modulation (AM) patterns—rhythmic fluctuations in speech intensity or energy—across multiple timescales.

Climatology of Cloud‐Land‐Surface Coupling Across Different ARM Sites

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 1, 16 January 2026.
Abstract Land‐atmosphere interactions play a critical role in the evolution and formation of low‐level clouds. The different states of coupling between low‐level clouds and the surface are uncertain, primarily over continental regions, where complex thermodynamics complicates their investigation.

A Data Library of Liquid Clouds Modelled With a Large Eddy Simulation Framework

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
Clouds from four global liquid cloud testbed regions are modelled using atmospheric large eddy simulations coupled to a detailed scheme for cloud microphysics, offering data suitable for examining interactions among cloud, aerosol and turbulence in warm, boundary‐layer clouds and for developing parameterizations for coarser‐scale models.

Micropulses and Different Types of Brownian Motion [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Probability, 2011
In this paper we study sums of micropulses that generate different kinds of processes. Fractional Brownian motion and bifractional Brownian motion are obtained as limit processes. Moreover, we not only prove the convergence of finite-dimensional laws but also, in some cases, convergence in distribution in the space of right-continuous functions with ...

An Investigation of Micropulsations at Middle Latitudes [PDF]

open access: yesGeophysical Journal International, 1966
Summary Rubidium magnetometers were set up at the three United Kingdom observatories and simultaneous recordings of micropulsations occurring in the total field direction were obtained for the second half of 1964. An analysis of these records is described which brings out the general features of micropulsations and which indicates some differences ...

Preliminary Study for an RF photocathode based electron injector for awake project

open access: yes, 2014
AWAKE project, a proton driven plasma wakefield acceleration (PDPWA) experiment is approved by CERN. The PDPWA scheme consists of a seeding laser, a drive beam to establish the accelerating wakefields within the plasma cell; and a witness beam to be ...
