Bioorthogonal chemistry was applied to intracellularly photoactivate Doxorubicin (Dox) using gold nanostars (AuNSt) and near‐infrared (NIR) light. Two prodrugs were used: one photoactivatable, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl carbamate (proDox1) and another photolabile, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl diol (proDox2), which was attached to the AuNSt surface.

Two-photon microscopy : sequential imaging studies in vivo [PDF]
Microscopists have always desired to look inside various organ tissues to study structure, function and dysfunction of their cellular constituents. In the past, this has frequently required tissue extraction and histological preparation to gain access ...

Automated analysis of spine dynamics on live CA1 pyramidal cells [PDF]
Dendritic spines may be tiny in volume, but are of major importance for neuroscience. They are the main receivers for excitatory synaptic connections, and their constant changes in number and in shape reflect the dynamic connectivity of the brain.

Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...

This study demonstrates that Mn2⁺–tumor DNA complexes encapsulated in dendritic cell (DC)– derived immunogenic extracellular vesicles (EVDC@Mn‐DNA) act as a DC‐specific cGAS– STING activator. EVDC@Mn‐DNA treatment enhances intratumoral DC activation, improves tumor vascular function, promotes CD8⁺ T cell activity, and suppresses pancreatic tumor growth,

Multiphoton fluorescence lifetime imaging of human hair
S.154-161In vivo and in vitro multiphoton imaging was used to perform high resolution optical sectioning of human hair by nonlinear excitation of endogenous as well as exogenous fluorophores. Multiphoton fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) based on time-
