Transcriptomics (bulk and single‐nuclei RNAseq) and lipidomics (mass spectrometry) analysis showed that slow‐twitch muscle (soleus) is enriched in bioactive lipids derived from docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and their biosynthesizing enzymes compared to fast‐twitch muscle (tibialis anterior).
