Microstrip antenna diplexers for wireless communications

2009 European Microwave Conference (EuMC), 2009
In this paper we present a dual-band antenna integrated with diplexer. Compact microstrip diplexer was designed using pseudo-interdigital stepped impedance bandpass filters with improved stopband. Microstrip patch antenna designed to support dual-band operation at 2.5–2.6 GHz and 5.1–5.5 GHz frequency bands was integrated with diplexer.

Microstrip Tunable Diplexer With Separately-Designable Channels

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2020
A microstrip tunable diplexer with two separately- designable channels and multiple transmission zeroes (TZs) using common element-loaded uniform impedance resonator (UIR) is proposed. The common UIR operating in third harmonic ( ${f} _{3}$ ) and fifth harmonic ( ${f} _{5}$ ) is used for designing the two diplexer channels.

Microstrip Diplexer Using Stepped Impedance Resonators

Wireless Personal Communications, 2015
In this paper, a compact diplexer based on coupled stepped impedance resonators (SIRs) is designed for Digital Communication System and the industrial, scientific and medical applications. The diplexer is composed from two band-pass filters operated at 1.8 and 2.45 GHz respectively. The size and the position of the SIR and the feed lines are determined

A microstrip diplexer using folded hairpins

2011 IEEE International RF & Microwave Conference, 2011
This paper presents the design of a microstrip diplexer using step impedance resonator (SIR) with folded hairpin structure. The diplexer consists of two third-order Chebyshev bandpass filters operating at 0.9GHz and 1.8GHz within GSM frequencies band. A diplexer is constructed by connecting two filters to a Y-junction.

Design of Microstrip Lowpass-Bandpass Diplexer

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2013
The matching circuit design of a lowpass-bandpass diplexer may be a challenge in conventional designs because a wideband (from zero frequency to approximately the cutoff frequency of the lowpass filter) open condition is required to achieve in bandpass channel circuit.

SIW Diplexer Integrated with Microstrip Antenna

2018 IEEE International RF and Microwave Conference (RFM), 2018
In this paper a new design of multilayer SIW diplexer integrated with microstrip antenna is presented. The design process started with the network synthesis of the SIW diplexer integrated with patch antenna using lumped lowpass prototype networks. The circular cavity structure using TM 010 mode is employed in the design of the diplexer and TM 110 ...

Microstrip filters and diplexers for WiMAX applications

2007 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2007
In this paper microstrip diplexers for WiMAX was designed using novel super compact microstrip pseudo-interdigital quasi-elliptical bandpass filters. Diplexer is for separation of first and second channels of IEEE 802.16e standard, which are 2.3-2.7 GHz and 3.3-3.9 GHz.

A new ring microstrip diplexer

12th International Conference on Microwaves and Radar. MIKON-98. Conference Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.98EX195), 2002
An original structure, a method and results of computer-aided synthesis of a new ring microstrip diplexer are considered. These diplexers for matched loads give ideal decoupling between sources and practically pure resistive inputs over the whole frequency band.

A microstrip diplexer from metamaterial transmission lines

2009 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2009
A planar diplexer using a metamaterial directional coupler is presented. It is composed of a conventional microstrip line and a metamaterial transmission line, which is a dual composite right/left-handed (D-CRLH) transmission line. The metamaterial coupler works in dual modes and leads to alternative coupling coefficients.

Microstrip Diplexer Design

2020
In this chapter, the microstrip square open-loop resonator (SOLR) has been utilised in the implementation of the microwave diplexer circuit model established in Chapter 4. The SOLR is very popular and well known resonator type commonly used in the implementation of microwave passive devices including filters and diplexers, due to its compact size.
