Microstrip diplexer with low channel-frequency ratio

Each ring resonator acts as a bandpass filter with a transmission zero lying very close to the passband of the other filter, thereby increasing the isolation between the two channels.

Novel compact microstrip diplexer for GSM applications
International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies, 2018In this paper, a microstrip diplexer is designed based on a novel structure consisting of the meandrous and patch cells. It operates at 0.8 and 0.9 GHz for global system for mobile communications applications. The proposed diplexer is well miniaturized with an overall size of 0.01λg2.

Microstrip Eight-Channel Diplexer With Wide Stopband
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2014A microstrip eight-channel diplexer with a compact size and a wide stopband is presented. There are sixteen stepped-impedance resonators controlling the passband characteristics. Every two resonators are used for one passband resulting in a high design freedom. There are four passbands filtered out at each of the two output ports.

A compact and high isolation microstrip switchable diplexer
2015 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2015A compact, high-selectivity, and high-isolation microstrip electronically switchable diplexer is proposed. The diplexer is formed by connecting two switchable dual-band filters to a single feed with multiple coupling paths. No extra matching network is required for this design, which results in a smaller circuit size.

Compact microstrip lowpass‐bandpass diplexer using radial stubs
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2018AbstractIn this work, a compact microstrip lowpass‐bandpass diplexer using radial stubs (RSs) is proposed. By controlling the input impedance of the RS resonators, it is possible to obtain a selective lowpass filter (LPF) and a narrow bandpass filter (BPF) with a fractional bandwidth of 5%, without increasing the insertion losses (ILs) of both filters.

A microstrip diplexer filter using stepped-impedance resonators
2008 SICE Annual Conference, 2008Parallel coupled-line filter covers odd and even wave coupling of transmission lines. Cascading parallel coupled-line sections gives rise to a bandpass filter structure. Since conventional parallel coupled-line filter has poor spurious response and isolation performance, step impedance technique is added to improve its performance.

Design of compact microstrip diplexer with high selectivity
2012 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications (SPCOM), 2012A novel design of compact microstrip diplexer, using coupled dual-mode open-loop resonators, is proposed. The main advantage in using dual-mode open-loop resonators is that a compact narrowband bandpass filter with high selective asymmetrical frequency response is easily realized.
