A compact and high isolation microstrip switchable diplexer

2015 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2015
A compact, high-selectivity, and high-isolation microstrip electronically switchable diplexer is proposed. The diplexer is formed by connecting two switchable dual-band filters to a single feed with multiple coupling paths. No extra matching network is required for this design, which results in a smaller circuit size.

Compact microstrip lowpass‐bandpass diplexer using radial stubs

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2018
AbstractIn this work, a compact microstrip lowpass‐bandpass diplexer using radial stubs (RSs) is proposed. By controlling the input impedance of the RS resonators, it is possible to obtain a selective lowpass filter (LPF) and a narrow bandpass filter (BPF) with a fractional bandwidth of 5%, without increasing the insertion losses (ILs) of both filters.

Microstrip Diplexer Design Using Common T-Shaped Resonator

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2011
This study presents a novel microstrip diplexer with a joint T-shaped resonator. The T-shaped resonator has an extremely small frequency ratio using microstrip with practical line width. Additionally, the T-shaped resonator can be used as a frequency selective signal splitter, making it feasible to design a diplexer for a system with two extremely ...

A novel microstrip diplexer based on coupled line

Electromagnetics, 2018
A novel diplexer operated at 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz is proposed. It is based on the coupled microstrip line and features low insertion loss, high isolation, simple topology, and compact size.

A microstrip diplexer filter using stepped-impedance resonators

2008 SICE Annual Conference, 2008
Parallel coupled-line filter covers odd and even wave coupling of transmission lines. Cascading parallel coupled-line sections gives rise to a bandpass filter structure. Since conventional parallel coupled-line filter has poor spurious response and isolation performance, step impedance technique is added to improve its performance.

Design of compact microstrip diplexer with high selectivity

2012 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communications (SPCOM), 2012
A novel design of compact microstrip diplexer, using coupled dual-mode open-loop resonators, is proposed. The main advantage in using dual-mode open-loop resonators is that a compact narrowband bandpass filter with high selective asymmetrical frequency response is easily realized.

Design of Microstrip Diplexer with Wide Band-stop

2007 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2007
This paper introduces a three-port microstrip diplexer. The diplexer is made up of two band-pass filters based on symmetric microstrip electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structure and two 1/4 lambda micro-strips (lambda is the guiding wavelength at the resonant frequency of every filter.) The result of simulation shows that the micro-strip diplexer has ...

High isolation and compact size microstrip hairpin diplexer

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2005
Since conventional microstrip hairpin filter and diplexer are inherently formed by coupled-line resonators, spurious response and poor isolation performance are unavoidable. This letter presents a simple technique that is suitable for an inhomogeneous structure such as microstrip to cure such poor performances.

Microstrip lowpass–highpass diplexer for a quadplexer application

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2014
ABSTRACTA microstrip low‐loss diplexer is designed based on a lowpass and highpass Chebyshev filter configuration and combined with two duplexers for a quadplexer application. A 50‐Ω transmission line is added to the lowpass filter to have a high impedance at the highpass frequency band, resulting in low loss and high isolation. To minimize size of the
