Microstrip dual-bandpass filter design

2017 25th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2017
Dual-bandpass microstrip filter design is suggested for small-scale device. Design of dual-bandpass microstrip filter has been created with concentric square structure by using microstrip resonator. Both of resonators have been used to get dual-bandpass frequencies and fed with only one source.

Nonreflective microstrip filter

2016 17th International Conference of Young Specialists on Micro/Nanotechnologies and Electron Devices (EDM), 2016
The article presents design for nonreflective microstrip filters based on the ring resonators and shows its calculation methods. The presented notch filter provides a high filtering due to the additional zeros of transmission index in stop band and is characterized by simplicity of design implementation.

Narrowband microstrip HTS filter

2016 21st International Conference on Microwave, Radar and Wireless Communications (MIKON), 2016
The new type of narrowband bandpass filter is presented. The design and realization of the filter in microstrip technology is described. The filter has been etched from YBCO thin film deposited on sapphire substrate. The filter has bandwidth of 0.2 %, RL better than 20 dB and a size of 2 inch in diameter.

Miniaturized microstrip ring filter

2009 IEEE Student Conference on Research and Development (SCOReD), 2009
Miniaturized microstrip ring filter is presented. Four lumped capacitors are added in the initial ring resonator topology to shift the resonant frequency to about 50% of its nominal value, leading to size reduction of the filter. The required value of the capacitors is calculated using tuning synthesis equations of the ring resonator.

Superconducting microstrip filters

AIP Conference Proceedings, 1978
Control of the non‐zero radiation resistance inherent in metal strip transmission lines results in high‐currrent densities and low transmission quality factors. Superconducting metals reduce the ohmic losses to approximately the dielectric losses associated with a sapphire substrate. Quality factors of 100,000 are possible.

Coupled microstrip comblines filters

International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, 2007
This paper presents a procedure to design filters using a microstrip combline structure. The combline structure provides a way to reduce the final dimension of the filter. The characteristic impedance and phase constant equations of the combline coupler are derived in terms of impedance and phase constant of the single microstrip coupled lines ...

QUASI-ELLIPTIC MICROSTRIP FILTER

Issues of radio electronics, 2019
Currently, modern telecommunication and radio-electronic systems widely use wireless information transmission technologies over the radio channel. Therefore, an urgent task is to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of a large number of simultaneously operating radio facilities using high-selective bandpass filters.

Microstrip cascade trisection filter

IEEE Microwave and Guided Wave Letters, 1999
A new configuration of odd-degree cascade trisection bandpass filter realized by combining a microstrip hairpin resonator and /spl lambda//2-line open-circuited resonator is proposed. The general asymmetric Chebyshev function is used to synthesize the cascade trisection prototype.

Microstrip realization of ultraspherical filter function

2018 First International Colloquium on Smart Grid Metrology (SmaGriMet), 2018
In this paper the low-pass filter design procedure is revisited in order to convert ultraspherical polynomial function into physically realizable filter characteristics. The obtained characteristics is compared with Butterworth and Chebyshev characteristics and is shown to possess capability to design more classes of filters based on specifications ...
