Graphene–Polyimide Flexible Electronic Platform Enabling Ultra‐Broadband High‐Gain THz MIMO Systems

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The integration of two‐dimensional (2D) materials with flexible substrates is pivotal for advancing next‐generation terahertz (THz) and sixth‐generation (6G) wearable electronics. However, a significant challenge remains in preserving the exceptional electronic properties of 2D materials such as graphene on low‐loss, mechanically robust dielectrics at ...

Circuit‐Theoretic Modeling and Simulation Study of Near‐Field MIMO Arrays of Dipole Antennas

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Near‐field mutual coupling among closely spaced antennas limits the deployment of wireless MIMO interconnects in chip‐to‐chip communication. This paper presents a circuit‐theoretic modeling and simulation study of near‐field MIMO (NFMIMO) systems using 1 × 1 and 2 × 2 dipole arrays.

Do We Really Need Frequency‐Selective Surface and Metasurface Reflectors for Antenna Gain Enhancement, or Are Metallic Reflectors Enough?

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Enhancing antenna gain remains a key requirement in modern wireless systems, particularly with the rapid evolution of 5G, emerging 6G networks, satellite links, and high‐resolution radar. Recent research trends increasingly rely on frequency‐selective surfaces (FSSs) and metasurface‐based reflectors, which offer precise electromagnetic wave control ...

Microstrip loop directional filter

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1997
The design and measured results for a microstrip loop directional filter formed by cascading two identical 4-resonator loop filters are presented. The second filter acts as a corrector whose output is added to the output of the first filter thereby minimising passband distortions and resulting in greatly improved performance.

Single ACPW‐Fed Dual‐/Tri‐Band Dual Circularly Polarized Microstrip Antenna for Improvised Explosive Device Detection

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
A compact single asymmetric coplanar waveguide feed (ACPW‐fed) dual circularly polarized microstrip antenna that operates at 1.8, 3.9, and 5.2 GHz in the entire operating frequency band 600 MHz–6 GHz for the radar detection of the improvised explosive devices (IEDs) carried by a person is introduced.
