Bow-Tie Microstrip Antenna Design [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper, the bow-tie microstrip antennas have been designed with two different angles of 40° and 80°. An investigaton on the effect of the angle to the return loss and radiation patterns had been carried out.

High power, broadband, coaxial to microstrip bi‐directional coupler in the VHF/UHF band

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement & Technology
Broadband couplers consist usually of multiple coupled lines that are each a quarter wave‐length long. Herein, in contrast to conventional methods, a short length of a microstrip line is coupled to a coaxial line.

X-Ray Imager With a 20 mm Width Microstrip Line for the Extreme Ultraviolet Spectrometer

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A time-resolved x-ray imager based on the gated microchannel plate (MCP) technology is reported. The single MCP microstrip line with a width of 20 mm is formed to improve the spatial resolving capability.

Charge Transport Processes in a Superconducting Single-Electron Transistor Coupled to a Microstrip Transmission Line

open access: yes, 2001
We have investigated charge transport processes in a superconducting single-electron transistor (S-SET) fabricated in close proximity to a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in a GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure.

Liquid Metal Elastomer Based Coplanar Waveguide Transmission Line for Stretchable and Self‐Healing RF Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work shows the first proof‐of‐concept for fully self‐healing and stretchable coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission line using printable electrically conductive liquid metal elastomer. RF performance was evaluated in frequency ranging from 1 to 6 GHz under uniaxial tensile strain up to 100%, after self‐healing, and for 1000 cyclic stretch‐release ...

A Compact and Wideband Coupled-Line Coupler with High Coupling Level Using Shunt Periodic Stubs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A wideband microstrip forward-wave coupled-line coupler with high coupling value is presented. Compared with the conventional edge-coupled microstrip forward-wave coupler, this symmetrical structure, consisting periodic shunt stubs between the two ...
