Crosstalk between microstrip transmission lines

IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 1994
Methods for prediction of crosstalk between microstrip transmission lines are reviewed and simplified for the weak-coupling case. Classical coupled transmission line theory is used for uniform lines, and potential and induced EMF methods are used for crosstalk between nonuniform lines.

Novel microstrip-line directional filters

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1997
This paper presents two new structures of four-port microwave directional filters incorporating microstrip-line resonators, uniplanar 180/spl deg/ phase-reversal units, and two or four identical p-i-n diodes. These filters provide substantially improved frequency characteristics compared to the conventional constructions.

Inset microstrip-line fed dual frequency microstrip patch antenna

Twelfth International Conference on Antennas and Propagation (ICAP 2003), 2003
In this paper, a novel single-feed dual-frequency microstrip patch antenna is presented and discussed. With proper selection of slot loading and inset feed, dual frequency operation of a patch antenna, with a frequency ratio between 1.03~1.2 can be achieved, whilst maintaining an input impedance of 50 Ω at both frequencies.

Design of packaged microstrip line

2016 IEEE International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2016
In this paper, a new-version microstrip line is proposed, named packaged microstrip line. It is comprised of three dielectric substrates. This novel microstrip line is no longer suffering from the issues of radiation losses, surface waves, or cavity resonances that exist in the standard microstrip line without or with a metallic shielding box.

Kinetic inductance microstrip delay lines

IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1987
Microstrip delay lines employing the phenomenon of Kinetic inductance have several potential advantages for analog signal processing. These properties will be discussed and contrasted with other delay line technologies. Several kinetic inductance microstrip delay lines have been fabricated using niobium, niobium nitride and various dielectrics.

Loss in tunable microstrip lines

2014 IEEE 34th International Scientific Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO), 2014
Electromagnetic energy loss in the micro-mechanically tunable microstrip line is studied including dielectric loss in substrate's medium and ohmic loss in metal electrodes. When total loss in the device is relatively small, loss mechanisms contribute additively, so complex effective permittivity can be used to account both phenomena.

Microstrip Tapped-Line Filter Design

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1979
The subject of this article is a step-by-step design procedure for microstrip tapped-line filters, accompanied by appropriate design curves. In addition to microstrip tapped-line interdigital filters, a new hairpin-line filter using tapping is introduced. The equation to equation the singly loaded Q for hairpin resonators produced by tapping is derived.

Nonsymmetrical Three-Line Microstrip Couplers

11th European Microwave Conference, 1981, 1981
The Green's function matrix facilitates the study of multiconductor transmission lines, including nonsymmetrical three-line microstrip couplers, since the effect of terminating impedances upon the input immittances as well as voltage and current ratios can be incorporated. Hence scattering parameters can be computed in an efficient manner.
