Partially loaded periodic microstrip lines [PDF]
In this paper, partially loaded periodic microstrip lines are studied. Floquet's theorem and spectral domain approach (SDA) are used to formulate coupled integral equations. Method of moments is then applied to convert the coupled integral equations to a matrix equation.

A New Method for Designing Modified Compact Microstrip LPF with Sharp Roll-Off and Wide Stopband [PDF]
A new method for designing a compact microstrip lowpass filter (LPF) with wide stopband width (SBW) and sharp roll off (ROF) is presented. In proposed designing procedure, high impedance microstrip lines are bent to achieve an LPF with compact size. Then,

Modeling a Planar Coupled Microstrip Lines using various Wavelets and Method of Moments
In this paper, we apply a several wavelets basis functions to the method of moments to modeling the parallel-coupled microstrip lines. The first set of equations is for the shielded microstrip line solved with moment’s method and wavelets.

Low-noise 1 THz niobium superconducting tunnel junction mixer with a normal metal tuning circuit [PDF]
We describe a 1 THz quasioptical SIS mixer which uses a twin-slot antenna, an antireflection-coated silicon hyperhemispherical lens, Nb/Al-oxide/Nb tunnel junctions, and an aluminum normal-metal tuning circuit in a two-junction configuration.

Design of a Novel Broadband Microstrip Line-Suspended Microstrip Line Transition Circuit
Abstract Based on the application requirements of the suspended microstrip circuit, a novel broadband microstrip line-suspended microstrip line transition circuit is designed in this paper. The transition structure uses “V-grooved” ground structure to realize the transition from microstrip line to suspended microstrip line in the ...

Magnetically scannable microstrip antenna employinga leaky gyromagnetic microstrip line
Rigorous full-wave spectral-domain analyses of a magnetically scannable gyromagnetic microstrip leaky-wave antenna are presented. Varying the DC magnetic bias field by /spl sim/6.5%, the maximum radiation angle of the leaky-wave antenna, measured from the horizon, shifts from zero to almost 90/spl deg/.
