Repurposing of Chemokine Antagonists for Combined Phase‐Resolved Spinal Cord Injury Treatment
Spinal cord injury (SCI) in mammals is accompanied by a massive cytokine storm in cerebrospinal fluid, mainly driven by CXCL1, IL‐6, and CCL2‐5. Sub‐acute phase is mostly associated with IL‐2, IL‐7, CCL22, and CX3CL1, whereas TNFα and IL17α permanently persists in CNS even weeks following SCI.

Influence of microtomy on measurements of orientation
Abstract The correct measurement of orientation and crystallinity on thin sections microtomed from larger specimens requires a knowledge of the influence of sectioning on these properties. In this work, the measuring technique used is FTIR, using dichroism to determine the orientation and regular FTIR to determine the degree of crystallinity.

We investigated the distribution and structure of scent glands in the banded mongoose (Mungos mungo), a cooperatively breeding, group‐living mammal. Histological analyses revealed relatively large anal glands and a previously undescribed cheek gland, but no specialised scent glands in the chin or abdomen.
