Application value of contrast‐enhanced ultrasound in preoperative localization of microwave ablation for primary hyperparathyroidism

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Background Ultrasonography (US) and 99mTechnetium‐sestamibi scintigraphy (99mTc‐MIBI) are currently first‐line imaging modalities to localize parathyroid adenomas with sensitivities of 80% and 84%, respectively. Therefore, finding other modalities to further improve the diagnostic accuracy for preoperative localization is critically needed ...

Practical challenges in data‐driven interpolation: Dealing with noise, enforcing stability, and computing realizations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView., 2023
Summary In this contribution, we propose a detailed study of interpolation‐based data‐driven methods that are of relevance in the model reduction and also in the systems and control communities. The data are given by samples of the transfer function of the underlying (unknown) model, that is, we analyze frequency‐response data.

A 3D Printed Ka-Band High-Efficiency Wide-Slit Antenna Array for High-Power Microwave Applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2022
A Ka-band high-power waveguide wide-slit antenna array with high efficiency and high-power capacity is proposed in this paper. The antenna uses a waveguide vertical transition structure as a part of the feed network, which improves the compactness and ...

First-Year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) Observations: Determination of Cosmological Parameters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
WMAP precision data enable accurate testing of cosmological models. We find that the emerging standard model of cosmology, a flat Λ-dominated universe seeded by a nearly scale-invariant adiabatic Gaussian fluctuations, fits the WMAP data.

Flexible Direction-of-Arrival Simulation for Automotive Radar Target Simulators

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves, 2021
In order to simulate realistic traffic scenarios, a radar target simulator must be able to generate multiple radar targets with different directions of arrival.

NINE-YEAR WILKINSON MICROWAVE ANISOTROPY PROBE (WMAP) OBSERVATIONS: COSMOLOGICAL PARAMETER RESULTS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present cosmological parameter constraints based on the final nine-year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) data, in conjunction with a number of additional cosmological data sets.

UAV-Based Bistatic SAR-Imaging Using a Stationary Repeater

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves, 2023
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is an established technique for high-resolution radar imaging relying on the ego-motion of the radar. The long coherent integration time of the radar in conjunction with a linear or circular trajectory enables the ...

State of the Art and Prospects in Metal-Organic Framework-Derived Microwave Absorption Materials

open access: yesNano-Micro Letters, 2022
The metal organic frameworks derived microwave absorption materials (MOF derived MAMs) were systematically reviewed. The design principles, preparation methods and effect of microstructures and composites of MOF derived MAMs were discussed.

Mutual Interference of Automotive OFDM Radars—Analysis and Countermeasures

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves, 2021
Due to its noise-like signal property, digital orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) radars are often assumed to be robust against interference.

First-Year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) Observations: Preliminary Maps and Basic Results [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We present full-sky microwave maps in five frequency bands (23-94 GHz) from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) first-year sky survey. Calibration errors are less than 0.5%, and the low systematic error level is well specified.
