Advanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.Vegetable waste is valorized through Soxhlet extraction using H₂O₂ and heteropolyacid (HPA), followed by material characterization (XRD, FTIR, TGA, DSC). A microwave‐assisted reaction at 170 °C for 30 min with HPA and alcohol yields bio‐based esters.

Over 5 million microwave ovens have been sold in Australia, and approximately 77 per cent of Australian homes contain one. It is plausible - but difficult to prove that microwave ovens have reduced time spent cooking.

USP10 Inhibits Ferroptosis via Deubiquinating POLR2A in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study identifies USP10 as a novel deubiquitinase that antagonizes ferroptosis in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Mechanistically, USP10 directly stabilizes POLR2A protein through post‐translational deubiquitination, enabling POLR2A‐mediated transcriptional activation of SLC7A11, a key ferroptosis inhibitor.
