Conference on Intelligent Robots in Factory, Field, Space, and Service, 1994
Microwave Vision (MV), a concept originally developed in 1985, could play a significant role in the solution to robotic vision problems. Originally our Microwave Vision concept was based on a pattern matching approach employing computer based stored replica correlation processing.

Stereo Vision Reconstruction of Infrared Temperature in Microwave Reaction Chamber
2014 Sixth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2014Conventional uncooled infrared temperature detectors can only detect targets in two-dimensional temperature field. We propose to achieve three-dimensional temperature field in microwave reaction chamber through binocular visual reconstruction. The infrared and visible multispectral images at two-views are acquisitioned via an infrared detector.

Design of antijamming in microwave remote-vision system
Proceedings of International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility ELMAGC-97, 1997This paper presents the design of a helix filter used to suppress the jamming in a microwave remote-vision system, analyses the mathematical model of the helix filter and gives the design of the helix filter with a frequency bandwidth from 566 MHz to 578 MHz.

Microwave power adjusting during potato slice drying process using machine vision
Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, 2019Abstract In this study, machine vision was used for measuring area shrinkage of potato slices during thin layer drying process and then an artificial neural network (ANN) and linear models were investigated to predict moisture content (MC) of potato slices based on area shrinkage.

3D vision of electromagnetic fields in antenna and microwave technique
15th Conference on Microwave Techniques COMITE 2010, 2010Two approaches, Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) and graphic library OpenGL, are used for active stereoscopic vision of electromagnetic fields surrounding selected antenna or microwave elements. Input data are generated by analytical relations or acquired by electromagnetic field simulators and visualized in the form of vector fields and field ...

Experimental results of a new system using microwaves for vision correction
SPIE Proceedings, 2009Technology is in development to correct vision without the use of lasers or cutting of the eye. Many current technologies used to reshape the cornea are invasive, in that either RF needles are placed into the cornea or a flap is cut and then a laser used to ablate the cornea in the optical zone.

A Machine Vision-Based Heating Control Design for the Microwave Maintenance Vehicle
Advanced Materials Research, 2013Traditionally, human vision is applied to locating the region of the asphalt pavement defects. This will bring large variations for heating control of the microwave maintenance vehicle due to a shortage of the accurate control data. In this paper, a novel machine vision-based method was proposed to produce the control data precisely for the heating ...
