Monitoring the Velocity of Domain Wall Motion in Magnetic Microwires
An approach was proposed to control the displacement of domain walls in magnetic microwires, which are employed in magnetic sensors. The velocity of the domain wall can be altered by the interaction of two magnetic microwires of distinct types.

Glass-Coated Microwires For Composites [PDF]
In this paper, solutions for two problems are proposed. One of the problems is associated with increasing the strength of objects, for instance, the strength of windows in industrial buildings and dwelling houses. The other problem is related to electromagnetic shielding.

Superelasticity in Polycrystalline Ni-Mn-Ga-Fe Microwires Fabricated by Melt-extraction [PDF]
Ni48Mn26.4Ga19.7Fe5.9 microwires with grain size of 1-3 micron were successfully fabricated by melt-extraction. The superelastic effects in the microwires under various temperatures and loads were systematically demonstrated.

Spiral Annealing of Magnetic Microwires. [PDF]
A preprocessing technique named “spiral annealing” was applied for the first time to magnetic microwires. In this process, the sample was arranged in a flat spiral shape during annealing, and subsequent measurements were conducted on the unbent sample with the induced stress distribution along and transverse to the sample.
