Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysms
1994Middle cerebral artery (MCA) aneurysms make up approximately 30% of all intracranial aneurysms presenting with acute subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).1 The incidence, however, varies from 21% in clinical series to 31% in autopsy series. Eighty to 85% are located at the bifurcation of the MCA at the junction of the M1 and M2.
