Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

The teaching of arithmetic in France at middle school and in the transition from Middle school into High school

open access: yes, 2011
In this research, we are interested in a didactic study of the arithmetical contents, where arithmetic refers to elementary theory of numbers. We aimed to study choices of the teaching of arithmetic in France from the early XXth century and to identify institutional constraints for the reintroduction of arithmetic in the secondary education that ...

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

THE MIDDLE SCHOOL CLIMATE IN SENEGAL : The case of the Diourbel Middle School

open access: yesTHE MIDDLE SCHOOL CLIMATE IN SENEGAL : The case of the Diourbel Middle School
The climate of a middle school in Senegal is measured according to three indicators of perception: the quality of the relationships between the individuals who attend the middle school and the quality of the tuition and the security within the school ...

Evaluating the involvement of autolysosomes in the nuclear translocation of fluorescent proteins

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Endogenously expressed fluorescent proteins can be degraded by autophagy and transported to cell nuclei via the nuclear pore complex. But in some cell lines, for example, HeLa cells which are positive for immunoreactivity of a receptor ligand, such as UCN I, in cell nuclei, fusion of autolysosome with the nuclear envelope is involved in the nuclear ...
