Conservation Agriculture Improves Soil Resilience by Integrating Physical, Chemical, and Biological Pathways

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology Communications, Volume 1, Issue 3, September 2026.
Conservation agriculture significantly enhances soil resilience in tropical agroecosystems, especially in semiarid areas characterized by high degradation susceptibility, mostly related to the occurrence of shallow soils and increasing climate stress.

Multi-color single-molecule tracking and subtrajectory analysis for quantification of spatiotemporal dynamics and kinetics upon T cell activation

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
The dynamic properties of molecules in living cells are attracting increasing interest. We propose a new method, moving subtrajectory analysis using single-molecule tracking, and demonstrate its utility in the spatiotemporal quantification of not only ...

On Kotzig's Perfect Set Problem of Hamiltonian Cycle Decompositions of the Complete Graph

open access: yesJournal of Combinatorial Designs, Volume 34, Issue 8, Page 388-409, August 2026.
ABSTRACT A Hamiltonian cycle decomposition (HCD) of K n is a set of Hamiltonian cycles in which each 1‐path of K n appears exactly once. A Dudeney set of K n is a set of Hamiltonian cycles in which each 2‐path of K n appears exactly once. Kotzig's perfect set of HCDs of K n is a set of HCDs whose union forms a Dudeney set.

Hybrid Conjugated Polymer Nanoparticles as a Dual‐Mode Photodynamic–Photothermal Platform for Antibacterial Inactivation

open access: yesChemistrySelect, Volume 11, Issue 29, 3 August 2026.
ABSTRACT This study explores a light‐activated antimicrobial strategy by developing hybrid nanoparticles (Cn‐TBT‐NPs) composed of the conjugated polymers Cn‐PPV and PCPDTBT, which combine photodynamic and photothermal effects to inactivate Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

Understanding the effect of spatially separated Cu and acid sites in zeolite catalysts on oxidation of methane

open access: yesNature Communications
Unraveling the effect of spatially separated bifunctional sites on catalytic reactions is significant yet challenging. In this report, we investigate the role of spatial separation on the oxidation of methane in a series of Cu-exchanged aluminosilicate ...

Exploring Factors of Dog Temperament Impacting Pass/Fail Outcomes in Therapy Dog Aptitude Tests

open access: yesPets
In recent years, requests for animal-assisted interventions (AAI) from medical institutions and welfare facilities have increased. Dogs are the most commonly used animals in AAI. Dogs that pass the “therapy dog” aptitude test can work in AAI. In previous

Persistent Bilateral [18F]THK5351 and Migrating Unilateral [18F]FDG Uptake in Anti‐LGI1 Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 13, Issue 7, Page 1512-1517, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Anti–leucine‐rich glioma‐inactivated 1 encephalitis (LGI1‐E) can cause persistent cognitive deficits, but the mechanisms remain unclear. A 40‐year‐old woman with LGI1‐E presented with subacute cognitive deficits and showed mild left medial temporal lobe (MTL) swelling and fluid‐attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) hyperintensity on initial ...
