Experimental Study of Single Pass Welding Parameter Using Robotic Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding Process

2020
This paper presents the optimization of welding parameter for joining mild steel 1020 using ABB metal inert gas (MIG) robot welding. Mild Steel AISI 1020 with a thickness of 6 mm was selected in this experiment. The specimens cut into size 140 mm × 130 mm × 6 mm and then welded with ABB MIG robot welding used 1.0 mm electrode wire.
