Geographic variation in the altitudinal migration patterns, body size, oxidative status and exploratory behavior in a neotropical bird. [PDF]
Individuals of the same species can substantially vary their altitudinal migration pattern and phenotype according to local weather conditions. Here, we evaluate latitudinal variation in altitudinal migration patterns and its possible links with body size, oxidative status, and exploratory behavior in a neotropical bird.

Early-life diet composition affects phenotypic variation of correlated animal personality traits. [PDF]
In nature, animal behaviour is both determined by the genes and the environment. The environmental conditions animals face in their early development, such as quality and quantity of food is known to alter behaviour. However, is diet composition related to the expression and relationship between behaviours?

Within-population variation in an invasive fish' sociability when associating with conspecifics or heterospecifics. [PDF]
We examined sociability in guppies, demonstrating within‐population differences in sociability, which could have broader implications for invasion ecology. By revealing differences in associations with heterospecifics among individuals, the study sheds light on the complex mechanisms behind interactions between native and invading species.

Bibliometric investigation of the integration of animal personality in conservation contexts
Abstract Consistent individual differences in behavior, commonly termed animal personality, are a widespread phenomenon across taxa that have important consequences for fitness, natural selection, and trophic interactions. Animal personality research may prove useful in several conservation contexts, but which contexts remains to be determined.

Population dynamics of recovering apex predators: Golden eagles in a Mediterranean landscape
Density‐dependence, resource availability and human pressure at territorial level drive population dynamics in a recovering apex‐predator population. Abstract Apex predators play a critical role in shaping the biological and functional diversity of ecosystems.

The planet faces a climate crisis with severe health, economic and environmental consequences. Political actions such as the European Green Deal aim to mitigate climate change by shifting production and consumption patterns, and the production of mycorrhizal sporocarps—the fruiting body of fungi—is no exception. The production of mycorrhizal sporocarps
