Ultra‐Microporous Fe‐MOF with Prolonged NO Delivery in Biological Media for Therapeutic Application
Small, Volume 20, Issue 48, November 27, 2024.New ultra‐narrow pores iron bisphosphonate MOF (MIP‐210) with outstanding properties for an unprecedent controlled release of a potential gaseous therapeutic agent ‐ nitric oxide (NO). The unique adsorption mechanism, along with the MOF's high chemical stability and narrow pores, leads to an extended NO delivery time exceeding 70 h in biological media.
