High‐Performance UV Photodetectors Based on ZnO Hierarchical Nanostructures Grown on Aerosol‐Printed 3D Ag Mesh

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
First integration of ZnO nanorods with aerosol‐printed 3D Ag meshes for UV photodetector. 3D Ag/ZnO enhances light absorption and charge separation by providing a large active surface area for efficient charge generation and a strong UV response.

Transparent and Photovoltaic Water–Semiconductor Interface for Ultra‐Low‐Light Omnidirectional Photodetection

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A self‐powered photodetector using a static water–ZnO interface forms a Schottky‐like photovoltaic junction for ultra‐low‐light sensing. It delivers strong photoresponse, 360° detection, and flexibility, advancing transparent and sustainable water‐based optoelectronics.

Perceptions of Governance (Il)Legitimacy Mediate Climate Change Adaptation in the Lake Victoria Basin, Uganda

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Governance is a well‐known dimension of adaptive capacity across various frameworks, however specific links between perceptions of governance (il)legitimacy and adaptive capacity remain relatively unexplored. In this study, we investigate connections between climate change adaptation and perceptions of governance (il)legitimacy using focus ...

Long‐term prediction of epilepsy following traumatic brain injury among veterans using routine clinical data

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Despite elevated risk for epilepsy following traumatic brain injury (TBI), there are limited tools to assess epilepsy risk following TBI using routine clinical data. The objective of this study was to develop and validate a machine learning approach to predict the onset of posttraumatic epilepsy (PTE) over varying time horizons ...

Epileptic arousals: A neglected clinical entity

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Epileptic arousals (EAs) are seizures characterized solely by arousal from sleep. EAs are unrecognized in current seizure classifications. Their subtle semiology and inconsistently detectable ictal activity in scalp electroencephalography (EEG) complicate differentiation from physiological arousals (PAs). This study characterizes EAs

Automated segmentation of postsurgical resection cavities on magnetic resonance imaging in focal epilepsy: A Multicentre Epilepsy Lesion Detection study

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Quantitative assessment of extent of tissue resection following epilepsy surgery requires accurate delineation of the resection cavity on postoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Current methods for resection cavity masking are time‐consuming and labor‐intensive, and existing automated approaches exhibit variable segmentation ...
