Comparative 1H NMR Metabolomics Between Scandinavian Propolis and Australian Propolis: The Quest to Identify Radical Scavenging Compounds

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Chemistry, Volume 64, Issue 4, Page 438-450, April 2026.
Propolis from Scandinavia and Australia was chemically characterized using 1H NMR spectroscopy and multivariate modeling. Recursive partial least squares revealed spectral features associated with radical scavenging activity, and STOCSY enabled identification of the key phenolic compounds underlying these bioactive features. ABSTRACT Propolis from Apis

Self‐Reported Motives for Immobility or Constraints to Moving: A Review and Assessment of Ten Survey Measures

open access: yesPopulation, Space and Place, Volume 32, Issue 2, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Self‐reported motives for residential immobility are important for understanding why people remain in place, yet existing survey measures vary widely and suffer from a lack of standardisation. We review self‐report measures about motives for immobility or constraints to moving—measured with survey items asking what made it difficult for ...

Are species occurrence data usable for quantifying biodiversity dynamics associated with land‐cover changes at a regional scale?

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 7, Issue 1, January–March 2026.
We combine CORINE Land Cover data and GBIF Occurrence Records to model how species occurrence data varies as land‐cover changes. We found that the impacts of change on the number of species occurrence records differed among land‐cover change types.
