Potato virus X is a filamentous RNA plant virus that can be engineered into a molecular tool for cancer therapy. We produced genetically‐encoded virus‐derived nanoparticles decorated with nanobodies targeting cancer cell receptors, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2).

Effects of industrial slicing on the microbiological quality and safety of mozzarella cheese and ham
Slicing of animal origin food affects the final quality of products and potentially transfers pathogenic microorganisms as it occurs after microorganism control and elimination steps, such as cooking and pasteurization. Therefore, the food industry needs

3D Soft Hydrogels Induce Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells “Deep” Quiescence
Three‐dimensional soft hydrogels mimicking the bone marrow niche induce deep quiescence in human mesenchymal stem cells. Unlike 2D culture, 3D matrices halt proliferation, regulate cell‐cycle and quiescence markers, and downregulate mTORC1 signaling, preserving stem cell phenotype and therapeutic potential ex vivo.

A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

The Economics of a Regulated Dairy Market: An Empirical Analysis of Factors Determining the Values of Fluid Milk Quota [PDF]
Based on the hypothesis that tradeable marketing quotas may be analysed as an economic input in the production process of regulated firms, the standard capital asset pricing model is adapted to assess the impact of expectations of quota rents on Ontario ...
