Engineered microparticle topographies direct human mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis without biochemical additives. This osteogenic commitment is driven by canonical Hedgehog signaling and followed by temporal IGF‐II engagement. Two‐photon polymerization demonstrates spatial control, enabling the engineering of topographical gradients that pattern ...

The image shows a schematic form a nanobody‐conjugated theranostic prodrug (NBD) platform targeting tumor‐associated αvβ3 integrin. The NBD system integrates selective nanobody‐mediated tumor recognition, glutathione‐responsive disulfide cleavage for doxorubicin release, and aza‐BODIPY‐based near‐infrared fluorescence for real‐time imaging.

Multilocus sequence typing of Cronobacter spp. from powdered infant formula and milk powder production factories [PDF]
This study applied the Cronobacter spp. multilocus sequence typing (MLST) scheme to three strain collections, then known as Enterobacter sakazakii, which had been isolated between 1988 and 2009 from 14 countries. The results revealed the predominance (85%

Sweetosomes, a new class of fucose‐decorated liposomes, are developed via a one‐step microfluidic process without surface chemistry. This study elucidates their main caveolae‐mediated entry and distinct endosomal trafficking. These nanostructures demonstrate superior endosomal escape, organelle acidity modulation, and prolonged plasma persistence ...

Bacteriocin activity of enterococci and presence of genes related to pathogenesis
In total 228 enterococci strains isolated from food were studied. Enterococcus faecalis, E. faecium, and E. casseliflavus were found to be the dominant strains while E. durans and E. mundtii were present in a smaller extent.

Influence of milking management techniques and technologies on milk quality
The objectives of this study were to verify if the use of techniques and technologies involved in milking activity influence milk quality of small dairy farms, before and after technical training. The experiment was carried out in the northeastern region of Sao Paulo state with 36 dairy producers assisted by the CATI Leite program.
